AddPac Network Camera encodes video data by using two MPEG-4 encoders, and transmits dual video stream for live display and recording to DVR Server using Real-Time Transport Protocol (RTP).ĪddPac Smart DVR Viewer receives a live video bit stream from DVR Server under TCP/IP, which is a transmission protocol, and decodes the stream to display it on the screen. The video bit stream for video recording encodes video to be at a low frame rate and high resolution, while live video display encodes video to be at low resolution and a high frame rate.
